Ahhhh this awesome song takes me back to the beaches of Mexico and the nitelife of Mexico City.One of Spain's most succesful synth pop/new wave band that lasted from '81 til about '93 and not to be confused with the other Mecano (from the Netherlands). Ana Torroja went solo after they parted and has had success in her homecountry as well as Mexico - where I first heard of them and bought a "Best of" tape back in '89. Very awesome song with all the cool 80's stuff I love and a slight EBM/industrial feel to it, which is my fav from this group. Here is "No Pintamos Nada" taken from the classic (and a must have album "Ye Viene El Sol"). I also included "No Pintamos Nada (Nueva Version Industrial)" which is not as great but still enjoyable.
