She has sold more than 25 million records and is among the most successful recording artists of all time in France. She holds the record for the most number 1 hits in the French charts.
The saying goes if your not French, Canadian, or gay - then you propably havent't heard of Mylène Farmer. I discovered her while at a club in Chicago where one of her videos was playing on the huge video screen and was captivated by here voice and her video - very visual stuff with lots of sexuality. She is still going strong, viciously beautiful, and has even put out her own "Sex" tonic LOL. Gotta love her! Her 80's material is a mix of New Wave meets Dance Pop and very fun. It makes you want to dance and drink WINE!!!!!
